It's About How You Feel When you Leave...!
We have a variety of price ranges depending on the level of experience of the stylist and the years of education. Level One stylists are fully trained and licensed. They have been in training in our apprentice program as well. They have experience on the floor and are very talented. We've hand picked them to be a part of our team. Many guests have experienced their work first hand and are equally as satisfied with their work as they are with the work of our more veteran stylists. At Progressions salon-spa-store, you can receive services at various price ranges and your satisfaction will be guaranteed!
Progressions will exceed your expectations regardless of your stylist. Our pricing structure varies depending on the stylist's experience, skill certification, and continuing advanced education on all aspects of hair and professional performance. We have a certified Master Haircolorist on staff, who is a near-genius in the formulation and application of hair coloring. One of our stylist performs the Japanese Thermal Hair Reconditioning and the Brazilian Keratin Treatment.
Spa Manicure
This rejuvenating hand and nail treatment starts with an invigorating BioElements SaltGlow to exfoliate dry surface skin. Cuticles are then groomed and your hands and arms are given a soothing massage followed by a nourishing creamy mask to smooth and soften. Nails are then polished to perfection.
Spa Pedicure
Your tensions will slip away as you treat your feet.....

In 1984, Cindy Feldman and Ira Ludwick decided the time had come for a different kind of hair salon. One built on a commitment to five keys to success: a commitment to their guests, faith in their employees, a passion for the highest form of customer service, working only with the finest products available and a dedication to continuing education and personal growth.
It worked.
Today, having expanded for the second time, Progressions salon-spa-store now has a staff of more than 35 trained professionals, including award-winning stylists, colorists, manicurists and estheticians. Well established as one of the leading salons in the Washington area, they are member of Intercoiffure, an organization of the world's top salons.
In addition to their professional leadership, Cindy and Ira have maintained a tradition of community service, having raised tens of thousands of dollars for many causes.

I went to this fine establishment recently to have some work done and was not completely disleased with the total work done. I was absolutely and completley refreshed and energized following. I would completely and whol heartedly recommend this place to just about any one person that I know.

Thank you for your review as we always welcome feedback from our guests. However, I am confused by your review as it starts out sounding negative, but your comments regarding your experience seem to reflect a positive one. Were you not completely satisfied with your services, or with any aspect of your visit? The heading of "not bad" does not seem to coincide with a 3 star rating. Please let me know if there is anything more specific that we may address, as well as if there is anything we may do for you, today or in the future. We do guarantee 100% satisfaction and would be happy to accommodate you if you were indeed displeased. Please feel free to contact me directly. Yours in Service, Melissa Caputo

I have been going to this salon for over 2 years. They recently "upgraded" the salon and added fancy (and flimsy) spa chairs will glass bowls that are apparently only made for skinny women/women under 200 pounds. If you are plus size, they will not accommodate you and I was turned away from making another pedicure appointment due to the type of chairs/soaking tubs they have in the salon. This is extremely offensive and discriminatory to find that I salon I have given alot of my hard earned money to would have equipment that only a select few can use. I also received other services at this salon and was pleased for the most part, until this matter arose. After this incident, I could never frequent a salon that discriminates against plus size women and only seems to cater to the thin.

We have very high-end pedicure units that are state-of-the-art with regards to sanitation and comfort for both our technicians and our guests. They are approved for body weight up to 250 pounds. We do accommodate clients of all sizes for all of the salon and spa services that we offer. Unfortunately, one of the pedicure tubs had been cracked as a result of our lack of compliance with the manufacturer's weight restrictions. We did attempt to offer alternatives, such as a pedicure performed in an esthetic room where the feet would be wrapped in hot towels rather than soaked. However, our attempts were not well received. Our intention was certainly not to discriminate, nor to insult a guest.

They say that you can tell the quality of the haircut you are going to receive by the haircuts on the stylists themselves, and the stylists have hip, young styles. They're really friendly though and cater to a wide range of clients. I've seen older women walk out with conservative cuts, and 20 somethings with short, flattering highlights. A lot of their clients seem to be repeat customers. I personally have loved all the haircuts that I have received there. Part of it is the atmosphere of the place. They make an effort to make you comfortable. There's coffee and tea while you wait, and even though everyone is well-dressed and the salon looks very modern, it never feels pretentious. The price for cuts is pretty wide range, usually $40 and up. By the way, Daiva does great brows, if you are looking to get them shaped.
